Reports To:

CES Compliance Director  

Under the supervision of the CES Compliance Director, the Compliance Assistant will work closely with the program staff, senior leaders, subcontractors and funders to help ensure accurate financial reporting and procedural compliance on all grants in the CES System. 

Position Duties:

  • Assist Program Compliance Director and the Compliance Assistant Manager interacting with the system staff members to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient reporting and monitoring for the entire grant life cycle
  • Under the direction of the Program Compliance Director, assist the compliance team in fulfilling random monitoring of participant files for internal staff and subcontracted partners
  • As required, assist with facilitating on-going training to program staff and subcontracted partners as it relates to grant target goals and organizational policies
  • Filing, documenting and tracking compliance activities

Position Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree desired or equivalent of 3 years’ experience in related field
  • Knowledge of HMIS/Clarity desired
  • Experience with federal OMB circulars desired
  • Ability to think and problem solve creatively
  • Strong time management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently 

Additional Agency Requirments:

  • Must have valid California Driver’s License, driver’s insurance and a clean driving record
  • TB Test
  • Background Check
  • Negative drug and alcohol test (including marijuana)
  • Complete Agency Program Training
  • CPR/ First Aid Certification

Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours a week)
