Annual Events: Raising Awareness for Domestic Violence

Every October, Valley Oasis joins the nation in observing Domestic Violence Awareness Month with two impactful events that engage, educate, and empower our community. These events help raise crucial awareness and support for those affected by domestic violence while fostering a sense of solidarity and action.


15th Annual Ride to End Violence Poker Run and Car Show

Date: October 2025

Location: AV Harley Davidson 1759 W Avenue J12, Lancaster, CA 93534

Time: 8 am – 10 am ; 10 am – 3 pm

The Ride to End Violence Poker Run and Car Show is an exciting, family-friendly event that combines the thrill of a poker run with the showcase of incredible cars. This event not only raises funds for Valley Oasis but also brings together motorcycle and car enthusiasts to support a critical cause — ending domestic violence.

Event Highlights

  • Poker Run: Riders and drivers follow a scenic route, collecting poker cards at designated stops, with a chance to win exciting prizes.
  • Car Show: Car lovers can showcase their vehicles, from classic cars to modern marvels, in a friendly competition.
  • Live Music and Entertainment: Enjoy local band, food, and entertainment for all ages.

3rd Annual Termeko Coplin Domestic Violence Courage Conference

The Termeko Coplin Domestic Violence Courage Conference is an annual event dedicated to educating and empowering individuals and professionals in the fight against domestic violence. Named in honor of Termeko Coplin, a passionate advocate for survivors, this conference brings together survivors, advocates, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue and advocacy.
